Bought it to use to do some touch up in my RV. Matches perfect.
The good thing about this product is that it has the adhesive properties of duct tape. The drawback is that it looks like duct tape.
I purchased this "leather repair" tape to patch a small tear in a car seat, and I'm quite disappointed in its appearance. While the color match is decent, the texture looks nothing like typical leather or vinyl upholstery, and when trimmed the white inner layer is very visible along the edges.
Followed instructions, tape lost it adhesion 3 days in.
I've ordered before but chose a different option that I thought would go a longer way. Didn't end up being close to as much and it doesn't stick. So now I have to spend more money to get the tape I usually get.
Although the adhesive was excellent, the color (which was my fault for selecting it)
was way off. I had previously sent photos of the tape on the leather chair and had asked about a better match. You sent only a review request.
I have a leather cat seat that had started to split, so I cleaned the area with alcohol and applied some of the tape. After a month, it started leaving a residue around the edges that spread to nearby parts of the seat. I was able to remove it with no effort, because the adhesive had failed to hold—leaving additional residue that had to be removed.
Faux leather was delaminating in a non-wear, non-UV exposed area. Very carefully debrided the flaking area, masked a larger area around the "wound", cut the Patch & Match tape to size. Sprayed the area with adhesive spray (waiting 60-90 seconds) and applied the patch.
Looks great, color match is perfect, can only see a seam if closely examining the area.

I noticed that the adhesive began to give way after a short period. Color is a little different than what was on the web site. I'll give it more time, or re-apply.
I have not used this tape yet, I purchased it in order to have on hand if the need arises in the future.
The tape helped me cover a stepped transition that allowed me to near perfectly match wood colors.

Ordered this for the corners of my tufted burgundy-brown ottoman. The color is perfect and the tape is easy to use. I was very happy with the whole process. It was a great find!

I got the tape and matching large patch. The tape matches better and seems to stick better. I ended up covering the patch with the tape anyway. It’s not a perfect solution, but will hopefully prevent a bad situation from turning worse until we can afford new furniture!
Our Palliser Leather Couch was badly damaged by our puppy a few years ago. I asked for some samples, which were promptly sent free of charge, and dark brown was an exact match. Unless you are looking for the repairs, you can't even see them. Money well spent.
